Virtual Entrepreneur Skills Development Program
Are you interested in exploring entrepreneurship? Do you have an idea for a business and are looking to get started? The Virtual Entrepreneur Skills Development Program will help you develop the knowledge and skillsets necessary to become a successful entrepreneur.
About the Program
Community Futures Middlesex is committed to supporting Middlesex County entrepreneurs in acquiring the skillsets necessary to realize on their vision. One of the biggest challenges facing entrepreneurs with the startup of their business is accessing the right support at the right time.
CF Middlesex has successfully partnered with members of the Middlesex Workforce Development Partnership (MWDP) in obtaining funding from the Ontario government to offer aspiring entrepreneurs with access to resources available through the Go Forth Institute.
The Go Forth Institute is one of Canada’s leading providers of virtual entrepreneur training. Participants will be provided with 24/7 unlimited online access for one year to a series of short instructional videos and resources designed to teach you the 100 Essential Business Skills for success in addition to a physical copy of their Business Builder Book.
The Business Builder Book includes copies of additional course materials, worksheets and exercises, tips and samples of business plans that complement the online small business training experience that will be provided to individuals selected for participation in the program.
Individuals selected for participation in the program will be provided with the opportunity to leverage additional resources, business advisory support and/or financing to launch or grow their startup through CF Middlesex and/or its network of referral partners.
To be eligible for participation, you must
- intend to register your business within rural Middlesex County (outside the City of London)
- submit a feasible idea/concept for a business not currently operating or registered (within the last two years)
