Last week, Monte McNaughton — MPP for Lambton–Kent–Middlesex — announced three local investments through the Rural Economic Development (RED) program. One of the funding recipients is the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc, receiving $243,850 to provide local businesses with short-term office space, meeting rooms and high-speed internet.

In partnership with the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc and the Strathroy and District Chamber of Commerce, Community Futures Middlesex plans to extend the physical reach of its programs and services through this shared office environment in downtown Strathroy. This space will also offer opportunities for networking and collaboration among rural business owners, entrepreneurs and community-based organizations.

Along with the Strathroy and District Chamber of Commerce, we will be permanent tenants of the building to provide our business consulting, financing, training and workshop services.
