We are pleased to announce the newest addition to our Board of Directors. Effective November 2020, our board will consist of eight members with diverse business backgrounds and vast geographic representation across Middlesex County.

Shelagh Morrison is newly retired, most recently working with Turbo Images as the Executive Director of Marketing & Business Development. She has an extensive track record of past accomplishments overseeing marketing and sales departments, strategies and projects.

Leveraging her sales, marketing and business development experience with companies like 3M, Coca-Cola, Unilever and Colgate-Palmolive, Shelagh launched Yup! Marketing and worked as a consultant with advertising agencies and startups across North America.

She is currently involved in supporting economic development initiatives in North Middlesex, participating as a member of the North Middlesex Economic Development Committee. She has also extensively contributed to building the awareness and success of the Ailsa Craig Quilt & Fibre Arts Festival. Shelagh is a keen equestrian and resides on a farm just outside of Ailsa Craig, representing North Middlesex on our Board of Directors.

While we are thrilled about this addition, we remain committed to recruiting more members for our board. We are currently seeking individuals to represent Lucan Biddulph and Thames Centre, respectively, on our Board of Directors. If you or anyone you know would be a good fit, please feel free to contact us at info@cfmiddlesex.ca.

On behalf of everyone at CFDC Middlesex, we extend a sincere welcome to Shelagh as the newest member of our board. We look forward to good things to come!
