The Rural Edge: Transforming and Optimizing Your Business’ Online Presence
November 24 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am
As small businesses continue dealing with the effects of COVID-19, some sectors are pivoting their business models to adapt. Among those primarily impacted are downtown and main street businesses, which have relied on their physical locations. With tighter restrictions on public gatherings, main street businesses must diversify to offset this reduced foot traffic.
Digital Main Street, delivered by TechAlliance with funding from FedDev Ontario, launched the Future Proof program to help businesses create and execute a digital transformation plan. The goal of this program is to “future proof” small businesses for a post-COVID-19 economy, ensuring they can operate and grow through digital-savvy practices suited for their needs.
Presented by Karen Chalmers, Director of Partnerships with TechAlliance, and Darryl Julott, Managing Lead with Digital Main Street, this edition of The Rural Edge workshop series will address:
- The goal of Digital Main Street and its Future Proof program.
- Gaining access to the Future Proof program and other Digital Main Street services.
- A deep dive into the Future Proof program’s Transformation Teams.
