The Rural Edge: Building Your Brand Organically for Better Social Media Awareness

October 28, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

One key component of running a successful business is marketing and other promotional tools. Traditionally, entrepreneurs have leveraged print, radio and television advertising to promote their business. It can be useful in reaching your local audience, but the flaws have become apparent in the digital age. These traditional forms of advertising are often costly, and it can be challenging to reach your target audience. With the advent of social media, the landscape has completely changed for small business owners and their marketing efforts.

Given the increased reliance on digital technology due to COVID-19, social media should be a top priority for small businesses to promote their products and services. Regardless of which platforms your business utilizes, a consistent online presence will become necessary in our post-COVID-19 environment. At its most basic level, social media can raise awareness for your business. It can also be an effective way of establishing your business’ brand, differentiating you from others offering similar products and services to your target audience.

Presented by Cassie Krygsman, a business consultant in Middlesex County, this edition of The Rural Edge webinar series will address the following:

  • Optimize your social media channels for marketing purposes without paying for ads.
  • Post personable and relatable content that resonates with your audience.
  • Learn how to build your brand organically by building your engagement and following on Facebook and Instagram.
